٧٦٠ - حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بۡنُ حَفۡصٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الۡأَعۡمَشُ: حَدَّثَنِي عُمَارَةُ، عَنۡ أَبِي مَعۡمَرٍ قَالَ: سَأَلۡنَا خَبَّابًا: أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَقۡرَأُ فِي الظُّهۡرِ وَالۡعَصۡرِ؟ قَالَ: نَعَمۡ، قُلۡنَا: بِأَىِّ شَىۡءٍ كُنۡتُمۡ تَعۡرِفُونَ؟ قَالَ: بِاضۡطِرَابِ لِحۡيَتِهِ. [طرفه في: ٧٤٦].

760. ‘Umar bin Hafsh telah menceritakan kepada kami. Beliau berkata: Ayahku menceritakan kepada kami. Beliau berkata: Al-A’masy menceritakan kepada kami: ‘Umarah menceritakan kepadaku dari Abu Ma’mar. Beliau berkata:

Kami bertanya kepada Khabbab, “Apakah Nabi—shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam—dahulu membaca bacaan salat dalam salat Zuhur dan Asar?”

Beliau menjawab, “Iya.”

Kami bertanya, “Dengan apa, Anda mengetahuinya?”

Beliau menjawab, “Dengan gerakan jenggot beliau.”
