١٠٣ - بَابٌ يُطَوِّلُ فِي الۡأُولَيَيۡنِ، وَيَحۡذِفُ فِي الۡأُخۡرَيَيۡنِ

103. Bab memperpanjang bacaan surah di dua rakaat pertama (salat Isya) dan tidak membaca surah di dua rakaat yang akhir

٧٧٠ - حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيۡمَانُ بۡنُ حَرۡبٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعۡبَةُ، عَنۡ أَبِي عَوۡنٍ قَالَ: سَمِعۡتُ جَابِرَ بۡنَ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ لِسَعۡدٍ: لَقَدۡ شَكَوۡكَ فِي كُلِّ شَىۡءٍ حَتَّى الصَّلَاةِ! قَالَ: أَمَّا أَنَا، فَأَمُدُّ فِي الۡأُولَيَيۡنِ، وَأَحۡذِفُ فِي الۡأُخۡرَيَيۡنِ، وَلَا آلُو مَا اقۡتَدَيۡتُ بِهِ مِنۡ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ. قَالَ: صَدَقۡتَ، ذَاكَ الظَّنُّ بِكَ، أَوۡ ظَنِّي بِكَ. [طرفه في: ٧٥٥].

770. Sulaiman bin Harb telah menceritakan kepada kami. Beliau berkata: Syu’bah menceritakan kepada kami dari Abu ‘Aun. Beliau berkata: Aku mendengar Jabir bin Samurah berkata:

‘Umar berkata kepada Sa’d, “Orang-orang telah mengeluhkanmu dalam segala sesuatu sampaipun dalam hal salat.”

Sa’d berkata, “Aku hanya memperpanjang bacaan surah di dua rakaat pertama dan tidak membaca surah di dua rakaat akhir. Aku tidak mempersingkat apa yang telah aku teladani dari salat Rasulullah—shallallahu ‘alaihi wa sallam.”

‘Umar berkata, “Engkau sudah benar. Memang itu yang aku sangka terhadapmu.”
